Planet Coaster 2 has received a significant content injection today with the launch of the Silver Screen Pack and the release of the free Update 11. Both the paid DLC and the base game update are available now across all platforms.
New Rides and Theming
The Silver Screen Pack introduces seven new rides, including the Vector New Gen Flying Coaster and the Movement Construction Slot Car. Beyond ride hardware, the pack features over 650 scenery pieces focused on 1950s and Art Deco aesthetics, including varied wall sets utilizing glass, terracotta, and plaster finishes. A new park entertainer, Cornell Butterworth, is also included in the DLC.
Update 11 Features
Available to all players regardless of DLC ownership, Update 11 implements several quality-of-life improvements and new management tools:
- Wait Time Signs: New scenery pieces that display real-time average wait times to guests.
- Food Concessions: Players can now place five new food carts, including popcorn, candy floss, corn dogs, fries, and doughnuts.
- Expanded On-Ride Photos: The photo system is no longer limited to coasters. Players can now install ride photo cameras on tracked rides and flumes, link them to a photo kiosk, and generate snapshots for guests.
The update also includes a variety of general bug fixes to accompany these new functional additions.
