A new Minecraft add-on developed by Syclone Studios has arrived on the Minecraft Marketplace, bringing a dozen iconic Autobot and Decepticon characters into Mojang’s sandbox game. Unlike the studio's standalone 2024 story map DLC, this new release offers a free-form, fully fledged gameplay experience across open worlds.
Players can control characters from both factions, utilizing signature vehicle transformations, abilities, and weapons. Confirmed characters in the add-on include Optimus Prime, Megatron, Bumblebee, Grimlock, Elita, Jazz, Jetfire, Shockwave, Soundwave, Galvatron, Starscream, and Vortex. Each character features a distinct vehicle mode, allowing players to turn into cars, flying tanks, or fire-breathing dinosaurs.
Environment Destruction and PvP Controls
The add-on introduces global world settings that let players configure how much environmental damage the Transformers cause. Users can toggle whether attacks destroy weak or strong blocks, whether destroyed blocks drop items, and if the characters trample nature or small mobs while moving. Settings also determine whether high-speed vehicle rams deal damage to creatures.
Additionally, the content includes a PvP Battle Computer control panel. This tool enables players to configure deathmatch, team deathmatch, or last man standing matches by selecting time limits, arena sizes, and round counts.
