Reports circulating within the community suggested that a recent update to the multiplayer title contained a Remote Access Trojan (RAT) and required specific user actions to resolve. LEMORION has explicitly labeled these claims as 100% false, noting that the misinformation was spread by the hacker to cause panic among the player base.
Security and Infrastructure
In a formal update posted to the Meccha Chameleon Steam news hub on July 25, 2026, the developer explained that the game and the Discord server are not integrated. Furthermore, the studio emphasized that Steam’s developer infrastructure is designed to prevent unauthorized parties from publishing game updates simply by compromising a third-party service like Discord.
LEMORION stated that they have never implemented any malicious code and that the game remains safe for all users.
