Nexon America has confirmed that MapleStory will host a month-long collaboration with the anime series Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End. Starting September 9, 2026, and running through October 7, the event brings new challenges and cosmetic items to the PC version of the game.
Event Details and Gameplay
The crossover begins when a mysterious bronze statue appears on Mushroom Hill, signaling the arrival of Frieren, Fern, and Stark in Maple World. Players who meet specific event requirements and progress through the adventure log can participate in several limited-time activities:
- Frieren’s Spell Collection Event: Complete weekly missions and boss battles to earn rare Grimoires.
- Companion Assistance: Team up with Frieren and Fern, who provide magical skills to help defeat Magic Replica Monsters.
- Philosopher’s Book: A source for event-exclusive items, including medals, totems, titles, and themed chairs.
Exclusive Rewards
Beyond gameplay challenges, the event introduces a collection of character-themed cosmetic items. Players can obtain exclusive Petite Luna pets and dress their characters in collaboration outfit sets designed to match the signature styles of the Frieren cast.
