Auroch Digital and Big Fan Games have announced that Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun 2 will launch on October 14, 2026. The sequel to the 2023 boomer shooter is currently scheduled for release on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S, with a version for the Nintendo Switch 2 arriving shortly after the initial debut.
Soundtrack and Antagonist Reveal
Alongside the release date, the developers confirmed that award-winning composer Mick Gordon has contributed a new track to the game. Players can hear a preview of this music in the official release date trailer released today.
The trailer also provides the first look at the game's primary antagonist, Vashtorr the Arkifane.
