The Elder Scrolls Online (ESO) has launched its latest iteration of the Whitestrake’s Mayhem PvP event. Running from August 5 through August 12, the event focuses on competitive play across the Alliance War, Battlegrounds, and the Imperial City.
Quick Facts
- Event Dates: August 5 – August 12, 2026
- Bonus Gains: 100% boost to Experience, Alliance Points, and Tel Var Stone gains
- Reward Boxes: Pelinal’s Boon Boxes are earned through PvP activities
- Event Currency: This event does not reward Trade Bars (formerly Event Tickets)
Event Structure Changes
This version of Whitestrake’s Mayhem is shorter than previous iterations. The developers have indicated that these “one-week” events are designed to occur more frequently throughout the year, with the next session tentatively planned for November. Consequently, the event no longer features Trade Bars as a reward.
How to Participate and Earn Rewards
Players do not need to perform specific actions to activate the bonus XP, Alliance Point, or Tel Var Stone gains; the modifiers apply automatically while participating in qualifying PvP modes. To begin the associated quest, players can visit the Crown Store to pick up the “Whitestrake’s Mayhem” introductory quest and speak to Predicant Maera.
Pelinal’s Boon Boxes are available by completing the introductory quest, receiving 'Rewards for the Worthy' mail, or finishing PvP repeatable quests. These boxes contain various items, including:
- Transmute Crystals and Coldharbour siege weapons
- Outfit style pages for Alliance and Akaviri styles
- Rare fragments for the Alliance Breton Terrier pet
- Extremely rare items related to the Colovian War Torte recipe, including Chef Arquitius's Torte Dissertation and Lost Thesis
Merchant Availability
During the event window, two primary vendors are available to players. The Golden merchant, Adhazabi Aba-daro, offers legendary-quality jewelry in exchange for Alliance Points. The Impresario and her assistant, Philius Dormer, are also present, stocking rewards from previous versions of the event. While some items from Philius Dormer require Alliance Points, others require Trade Bars; however, as noted, no new Trade Bars can be earned during this specific event.
