What to Expect in Dokimon Quest
Set in a world inspired by the Game Boy Color era, Dokimon Quest follows a young trainer on a search for a missing childhood friend. The adventure features over 140 original monsters to capture, train, and battle across towns, caves, shrines, seas, and mountains.
The main campaign spans 15 to 20 hours of turn-based combat against rival rangers and shady corporations, complete with overworld encounters that let players initiate fights directly within the environment. After finishing the main story, players can hunt for rare creatures and alternate color variations.
The title includes several modern quality-of-life additions, such as sped-up battle animations, optional battle tips, and a quest log. Players can also toggle between 8-bit and piano soundtracks, pick from nine playable characters, and adjust the visual style using over 20 retro color palettes.
