Developer KING Art Games has pushed the official release date for Dawn of War 4 back to December 3, 2026 on PC via Steam. Originally scheduled to launch on September 17, 2026, the real-time strategy sequel received a delay to give the team extra time during the final stages of production.
Quick Facts
- New Release Date: December 3, 2026
- Platform: PC via Steam
- Developer: KING Art Games
- Preorder Details: Currently available at a 10% discount ($53.99 in the US / £44.99 in the UK)
Why KING Art Games Delayed Dawn of War 4
According to creative director Jan Theysen, the development team spotted an opportunity during the final phase of production to further elevate the experience. The extra weeks will be dedicated entirely to optimizing performance, squashing bugs, and applying day-one polish.
The updated schedule also adjusts the game's post-launch content roadmap to account for the later arrival. Notably, the December 3 launch window places the RTS title a few weeks after GTA 6's November 19 release window.
Preorder Status and Pricing
Dawn of War 4 remains live on Steam for preorders ahead of its December rollout. Buying ahead of launch applies a 10% price cut, bringing the cost to $53.99 in the US and £44.99 in the UK.
