Quick Facts
- Game Title: Carnival Hunt
- Platform: PC (Steam Early Access)
- Format: 5v1 First-Person Asymmetrical Multiplayer Horror
- Launch Reward: Epic Imposter Mask (available during the first three days)
How 5v1 Gameplay Works in Carnival Hunt
Carnival Hunt pits six players against each other in dark, carnival-themed environments. Five players control wind-up mechanical Bunnies who must coordinate to survive and escape. The sixth player takes control of the Carnival Monster, hunting down the survivor team across the map.
Playing as a Bunny requires active resource management and teamwork. Survivors must protect their winding keys, assist teammates by keeping their wind-up mechanisms powered, complete specific map objectives, and locate an exit. If a Bunny runs out of energy or gets caught by the Monster before reaching safety, the survivor team loses ground.
Launch Reward: Epic Imposter Mask Window
To mark the Early Access launch, players who log into Carnival Hunt during the first three days of release will automatically unlock the limited Epic Imposter Mask. The development team confirmed that once this three-day launch window closes, the mask will no longer be obtainable through standard gameplay or events.
Early Access Development Plans
The Early Access launch begins an extended period of community-driven development for Carnival Hunt. According to the development team, immediate priorities focus on tracking player feedback, patching technical bugs, resolving server or client stability issues, and fine-tuning team balance between the Monster and Bunny roles.
Future updates planned throughout the Early Access phase will expand Carnival Hunt with additional gameplay content, map features, and balance adjustments based on match data gathered during initial play sessions.
