Gameplay and Heroes
The core gameplay loop blends auto-shooting with deck work, requiring players to move, fight, and shape their builds as each run progresses. Cards introduce weapons, blessings, and rule modifications designed to reward creative strategies and card combinations. Players can select from four distinct heroes—Trickster, Goblin, Warrior, and Rebel—each providing a unique starting style that covers ranged attacks, close strikes, and magic before card picks further alter the build.
Each run sends players past the 13th Gate to fight waves and seek survival, featuring quests and story events that unlock tokens to aid subsequent runs.
Pricing, Bundles, and Supporter Packs
Alongside the base game's launch price of $9.59 USD / £8.79 / 9,59€ during its initial 14-day sale, a Supporter Pack is available for $4.99 USD / £3.99 / 4,99€. The Supporter Pack adds chrome skins for heroes, cards, and dice. Additionally, a Complete the Set Bundle is offered, packaging the first two games in the series alongside Hordes.
Linux Support and Unconfirmed Technical Details
The initial release includes native support for Linux, putting non-Windows PC players in the plan from day one. However, the developers have not yet shared system requirements, controller support details, Vulkan use notes, frame rates, or speed tests.
SteamOS testing and Steam Deck support are also currently unconfirmed, with no official Deck ratings or test data released. Spitfire Interactive plans to add more heroes, quests, dungeons, bosses, weapons, and play updates during the Early Access phase, guided by player feedback, though no specific dates or rollout orders have been announced.
