Asphalt is rolling out a busy slate of content for the remainder of 2026, headlined by the brand-new Mt. Fuji track, three themed seasons, and an upcoming roguelite-inspired event. While development is moving forward, the team acknowledges hitting a few obstacles that have pushed select features into 2027.

What is Included in the Asphalt 2026 Roadmap Updates

The latest update brings the Mt. Fuji track alongside three dedicated game modes spotlighting JDM, PAC-MAN, and IMSA. Special collaborations continue full steam ahead, following recent partnerships with Dragonforce, Audi, Porsche, and encores from Sonic and Hololive. Additionally, the shop rework has been successfully finalized and released.

Multiplayer improvements remain ongoing. The team has tweaked filters based on community feedback, introduced the Champion League, and revamped triumph rewards while continuing to offer exclusive cars for ranking up.

October Update: Path to Legends and Blackcrest Hall

Slated for Update 53 in October, Path to Legends provides new players with a dedicated set of missions and milestones. It grants earlier access to special events and multiplayer alongside useful starter cars.

Alongside it comes Blackcrest Hall, a major new event inspired by the roguelite genre. Players act as drivers-for-hire for an elite secret society, taking exclusive supercars through missions and challenges. Completing these objectives yields resources to upgrade cars and abilities, unlocking permanent rewards and adding Blackcrest Hall vehicles to personal garages.

Gauntlet balance changes are also planned for October to speed up rank progression and increase Gauntlet Coin earnings, though some cuts are still being debated.

Track Releases and 2027 Delays

While Mt. Fuji just hit the asphalt, the team confirmed they will not make it in time to bring another new track for the December update. Work is underway on plans for a subsequent track targeted for 2027.

Several other major initiatives have slipped into 2027 to maintain quality standards. The Club Event featuring Community Milestones has evolved into faction-based club competition. Meanwhile, the Referral Program, Mastery System, and the Asphalt Series Finals have all been moved out of the 2026 schedule, with esports sidelined due to unforeseen circumstances.
