Headlining the final update for the Astraeos DLC is the Boaratos, described by Studio Wildcard as a fiery bruiser built for close-range combat. The creature combines physical strength with fire-based attacks capable of leaving enemies bleeding.
The creature was built by modder 'Dragonheart'—known for the Arkology: New Encounters mod—with assistance from the modding community before Studio Wildcard applied final balancing and touches. Beyond combat utility, the Boaratos possesses environmental harvesting talents. Studio Wildcard notes that the creature chars trees before bringing them down, offering a quick method to gather charcoal.
