If you have been waiting to add a rare, event-exclusive Pokemon to your roster, your window of opportunity is closing. The limited-time 7-Star Tera Raid event featuring Hisuian Samurott in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet is scheduled to conclude in just a couple of days.

This event is the final installment in a series of raids celebrating the starters from Pokemon Legends: Arceus. While players were previously able to catch Decidueye in June and Typhlosion earlier this month, the Hisuian Samurott represents the last of these specific raids that will be appearing in the game for the foreseeable future.

Why This Samurott Is a Must-Have

While players can technically transfer a Hisuian Samurott over from Pokemon Legends: Arceus, the version currently appearing in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet raids carries a unique distinction. It sports the highly sought-after Mightiest Mark. This rare mark changes the Pokemon's name during battle, bestowing upon it the exclusive "Unrivaled" title. For collectors, this makes the raid-caught version a one-of-a-kind addition that will be impossible to obtain through these raids once the event cycle rotates out.

Event Deadline and Requirements

You have until 3:59pm PT / 6:59pm ET on July 17 to secure your own Unrivaled Samurott. To participate, ensure your game is updated and look for the 7-Star black crystals scattered across the Paldea region.

If you haven't yet unlocked access to these high-level encounters, you will need to meet two criteria:

  • Complete the main storyline of Pokemon Scarlet & Violet.
  • Complete the Ace Academy Tournament.

Once those milestones are cleared, the 7-Star black crystals will become available on your map, allowing you to challenge the Hisuian Samurott before it disappears from the game's rotation permanently.
