Niantic has announced the details for the Pokémon Go August Go Pass, which introduces a new reward track running from August 4, 2026, at 10:00 am local time through September 8. The primary draw for this month's pass is an encounter with the Legendary Pokémon Latias, available through the free reward track.

Go Pass Reward Tracks and Pricing

Players can progress through the free track by completing tasks to earn Stardust, XP, and Max Particles, in addition to the Latias encounter. Those looking for accelerated progress can purchase the Go Pass Deluxe for $7.99, which increases reward payouts and progression speed. A $9.99 bundle is also available that includes the Deluxe pass along with ten immediate ranks.

These passes are available for purchase via the Pokémon Go Web Store. Buying through the web storefront includes bonus items such as Ultra Balls, Max Revives, and Potions.

Returning Lucky Trinket

The final reward for the Deluxe track is the return of the Lucky Trinket. This item allows players to designate a friend as "Lucky" instantly, bypassing the typical requirement of reaching Best Friend status. Trading with a friend after using the trinket ensures that both Pokémon involved in the trade will become Lucky.

Event Milestones and Bonuses

Beyond the Latias encounter and the Lucky Trinket, the pass includes standard milestone rewards such as increased Gift capacity, extra Candy from trades, and extended Incense duration as players climb the ranks. Additionally, Niantic has removed the daily cap on Go Points for September 5 and 6, providing a window for players to grind for additional progress.
