The 2026 roster includes a mix of major global publishers and independent developers. New confirmations include ARC Raiders developer Embark Studios, Level Infinite, and NC, joining previously announced companies such as CD Projekt Red and Electronic Arts.
Tim Endres, director of Gamescom, noted that the sell-out status serves as a signal for the industry. The event will also feature a dedicated showcase for independent creators supported by IGN, along with community-focused events including a cosplay contest, gaming panels, and the first European appearance of Games Done Quick.

For those unable to attend in person, the event kicks off with Opening Night Live on August 25.
