How S2G Won the Championship
PUBG Mobile tournaments utilize a multi-day structure to account for the battle royale game's wide variety of maps and strategies. S2G demonstrated this unpredictable nature by climbing from ninth place at the end of the first day to fourth place by the close of day two, fueled by high placements and a match win.
The final day of competition used the Smash ruleset. At the conclusion of day two, the Smash points threshold was set at the leading team's total plus ten, which equaled 122 points based on eArena's 112-point finish. Once a team reaches this threshold, securing a match win immediately ends the tournament and crowns them champion.
Four teams qualified for Smash contention during day three: eArena and Nongshim RedForce in match 14, S2G Esports in match 16, and Aurora Gaming in match 17. The title came down to the final match, where Tianba claimed the final Chicken Dinner, but S2G secured the championship overall with a 154-point total.
