Publisher Mindscape and developer Dreamhunt Studio have announced that Unpetrified: Echoes of Nature will arrive on consoles this fall. After its initial release on PC via Steam on November 11, 2025, the emotional adventure title is expanding to a wider audience on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and Nintendo Switch.

Gameplay and Features
In Unpetrified: Echoes of Nature, players take on the role of a stone golem attempting to restore nature with the help of a fox companion. The gameplay centers on solving environmental puzzles to reconnect ancient energy sources while uncovering the history of a lost civilization.
The experience is designed to be reflective and peaceful, featuring an orchestral soundtrack and emotion-driven interactions. As players progress, the environment reacts to the golem’s emotional state, which in turn influences the weather, plants, and animals in the immediate area. A unique visual element tracks player progress: as you restore nature, vibrant flowers bloom directly on the golem’s back.
Exploration and Interactions
The game world is populated by a variety of animals, including elephants, horses, peacocks, armadillos, meerkats, and squirrels. The developer emphasizes that these interactions are key to the narrative, which focuses on the bond between the golem and the fox. Players will navigate diverse landscapes, utilizing the golem's specific abilities to unlock paths and solve puzzles that rejuvenate the world around them.
