About The Life and Suffering of Sir Brante

Originally released in 2021, The Life and Suffering of Sir Brante is a choice-driven RPG presented through a hand-drawn diary format. Players follow the protagonist from birth to death, navigating the social hierarchy of the Arknian Empire. As a commoner without a formal title, the player must manage political intrigue and societal prejudice to secure their family's standing.

The title holds a 'Very Positive' aggregate score on Steam and an 82 Metacritic score. While the game is noted for its world-building and narrative depth, some players have pointed out that the experience functions more like a strategic calculation of choices than a traditional adventure game.

Upcoming Universe Expansion

The developers are positioning the upcoming The Life and Suffering of Prince Jerian as a distinct story within the same setting rather than a direct sequel. In this new title, players assume the role of Prince Jerian, the heir to the throne of the Arknian Empire. A demo for Prince Jerian is currently available on Steam, where the game can also be wishlisted ahead of its July 20 release.
