A fresh batch of playable demos has arrived on PC via Steam, giving players an early look at upcoming indie titles. Between July 27 and August 2, 2026, developers launched five distinct experiences ranging from psychological horror to strategy simulations.

Horror and Narrative Releases
Lakecho Studio has released a demo for their psychological horror title Curse Of The Abandoned Floor. The game focuses on adventure and action elements. Similarly, Snoring Dog Games has made a demo available for Thorner, another psychological horror title that features multiple endings and a dark tone.
For fans of visual novels and RPGs, STARCULT. Night: Twisted Age by NOT A CAT STUDIOS is currently on the horizon. While a demo is not listed as immediately playable, the developer has confirmed a release window of Q4 2026.
Simulation and Strategy
Memo Studio launched a demo for the title 失眠俱乐部 on July 30, 2026. Classified as an indie RPG with simulation and interactive fiction elements, it is currently accessible on the Steam store.
Additionally, War Angels from developer Leolit Games and publisher RockGame S.A. entered the demo rotation on July 30. The title blends simulation, strategy, and action-adventure mechanics. All listed demos can be found and downloaded directly through their respective Steam store pages.
