One of the endings in IRON NEST: Heavy Turret Simulator turns your character into an anti-monarchist, allowing you to take down your own king on PC. This serves as the quickest ending available in the game.

  1. Clear the initial mission that unlocks the Fire and Light mission.
  2. Load one HE shell followed by one powder charge.
  3. Adjust the turret bearing to 327.9 degrees and wait for rotation to complete.
  4. Raise the gun elevation to 57.12 degrees.
  5. Fire the shell at the target.

Clearing Fire and Light and Loading the Shell

During the Fire and Light mission, your assigned task is normally to use triangulation to approximate an enemy location. To pursue the anti-monarchist ending instead, skip mapping the official target coordinates entirely.

Load a single high-explosive (HE) shell into the heavy turret, and follow it up with one powder charge. Because this approach bypasses the intended mission parameters, you do not need to use the map to locate an enemy spot.

Calibrating Bearing and Elevation

Precise calibration is required for the shell to reach its intended target. First, adjust the turret bearing to exactly 327.9 degrees. Wait for the angle turret to finish its full rotation before proceeding.

Once rotation finishes and the shell is loaded, raise the gun elevation to precisely 57.12 degrees. Verify that both the bearings and elevations match these exact numbers to ensure the shot connects.

Triggering the Ending

Fire the calibrated shell and wait for it to land. Opening the map afterward reveals that the projectile has struck a civilian target, identified as your king.

Hitting this target triggers an immediate sequence where your Iron Nest self-destructs in a ball of fire, ending your run. While it provides a swift conclusion to the game, it results in your character's death.
