Wargaming has officially announced the release of Update 2.4.1 for World of Tanks on PC, scheduled to go live on October 13, 2026. This update brings a series of technical adjustments and new content designed to alter the current competitive and progression cycles for high-tier players. The most significant change involves the expansion of the Clan Maneuvers mode, which will now support Tier XI vehicles for the first time, marking a shift in the game's competitive meta.

New Content and Progression

The update introduces the Babylon: Dark Tower event, which serves as the primary progression path for the upcoming season. Players who complete the event requirements can earn the Eclipse, a Tier IX Premium Soviet double-barreled heavy tank. This vehicle is positioned as the top reward for the progression track. Additionally, the developers have confirmed that the Black Signal mode, a 7v7 format specifically for Tier X vehicles, is slated to begin in mid-November.

Technical Improvements and Compensation

Beyond new modes and vehicles, the update addresses long-standing player feedback regarding map rotation. The matchmaker has been updated to specifically reduce the frequency of map repeats for players operating Tier VIII through Tier XI vehicles. This change is intended to provide a more varied experience during extended play sessions. To account for the server downtime required to implement these changes, Wargaming is providing compensation to the player base.

  • Eclipse Tank: Tier IX Premium Soviet double-barreled heavy tank reward.
