Gaijin Entertainment has officially launched the October Monthly Decals event for War Thunder, providing players across PC, PlayStation, and Xbox with a fresh set of cosmetic rewards. This event, which began on October 12, 2026, focuses on historical insignias that can be earned through active participation in combat rather than through premium store purchases. Players looking to customize their aircraft and ground vehicles have until November 12, 2026, to complete the necessary objectives and secure these items for their permanent collection.
Event Requirements and Participation
To successfully earn these decals, players must adhere to specific gameplay criteria. The tasks are restricted to vehicles of Rank III or higher. This requirement ensures that participants are engaging with mid-to-high-tier combat scenarios. One of the notable additions to this month's rotation is the Tiefseefisch emblem, which is now available through standard task completion. By focusing on these specific objectives, players can expand their customization options without spending currency.
Tracking Your Progress
The game provides a centralized interface to monitor your progress throughout the month. You can find the current list of available tasks and your completion status by accessing the customization menu within your player profile. The following path will lead you directly to the event interface:
- Open your Player Profile
- Select the Decals tab
- Navigate to the Monthly Decals section
The system is designed to keep your hangar organized. Once the event concludes on November 12, any decals you have earned will be moved to their corresponding permanent categories within the customization menu. This migration ensures that your collection remains accessible for future use even after the monthly window closes. If you miss the initial period, the items are still categorized for later reference, though the active tasks will no longer be available to complete. It is recommended to check your progress regularly in the hangar to ensure you meet the requirements for all 12 designs before the deadline arrives.
