Season 10.5 Content and Mode Additions
Marvel Rivals enters its latest phase with the Season 10.5 update, scheduled to go live on October 9, 2026, at 09:00:00 UTC. This update introduces significant changes to the current rotation, most notably the Path to Doomsday - Avengers: Infinity War mode. This specific game mode shifts the standard competitive experience by organizing 12 players into 6 duo squads, offering a distinct tactical challenge compared to the standard team-based formats. The mode is scheduled to remain accessible to players from October 9, 2026, through December 11, 2026.
In addition to the new mode, the development team has expanded the map pool for the 18 VS.18 mode. The Alchemax Headquarters map is now officially integrated into this playlist, providing players with a new environment for large-scale combat. Beyond map and mode adjustments, the update addresses quality-of-life improvements for existing cosmetics. Specifically, the Summer Special series water traversal emotes have been updated; these animations are now functional as stationary emotes even when players are located on non-water stages, allowing for greater flexibility in character expression.
Event Schedules and Cosmetic Rewards
The Infinity Finale season event serves as the centerpiece for this update, running from October 9, 2026, until December 10, 2026. During this window, players can earn Thor's The Avengers costume at no additional cost. Furthermore, the store has been updated with new bundles featuring Devil Dinosaur, Blade, and Cyclops. For those looking to acquire additional cosmetics through external platforms, Twitch Drops for the Angela - Will of Galacta costume are active from October 9, 2026, to November 6, 2026.
