Nintendo has announced that the classic GameCube platformer Super Mario Sunshine is heading to the Nintendo GameCube – Nintendo Classics app on the Nintendo Switch 2. The release is scheduled for August 13.

What to Expect on Isle Delfino
When Mario arrives on tropical Isle Delfino for a vacation, he finds the once-pristine island polluted and covered in graffiti. To make matters worse, Mario is blamed for the mess and forced to track down the real culprit while cleaning up the environment.
Players will utilize Mario's multipurpose water pack, FLUDD, to spray away goop, hover over danger, and use Rocket and Turbo nozzles. The adventure also brings back rideable Yoshis that feed on fruit to blast tropical troublemakers with juice, alongside boss encounters against threats like goop-spewing Piranha Plants.
