Pets are back in Grow a Garden 2 on Roblox, and they are essential for optimizing your garden's output. Unlike the original game, there is no central pet store; instead, these helpful critters spawn randomly on the map. Each spawn comes with a timer and a specific price in Sheckles. If you see one you want, you have to act fast—if the timer runs out, the pet disappears.

How to Manage and Equip Your Pets

By default, you start with three pet slots. If you want to expand your team, you can purchase more slots with Sheckles, with the first additional slot costing 200k. To manage your current team, click the rabbit icon on the left side of your screen. You can also view the specific stats of each pet by clicking the '?' icon next to their name.

Whether you are looking for defensive help or a boost to your harvest, knowing which pet does what is key to progressing. Here are the currently confirmed map spawns:

Guild Rewards and Eggs

Beyond map spawns, you can acquire pets through Guild Rewards. Currently, the Black Dragon (which breathes frost to freeze intruders) is available through the active competition. Past competitions rewarded the Ice Serpent, which shares the same freezing ability.

You may also come across Common, Big, and Rainbow Eggs via the Auctioneer or Guild Rewards. Unlike the first game, eggs hatch immediately when placed in your garden. Common Eggs have a small chance to yield a mutated variant of a map spawn pet.

Understanding Pet Mutations

If you are lucky, you might obtain a mutated pet, which offers a significantly higher boost to its base effect. There are three known tiers of mutations:

  • Rainbow: Provides an added boost (e.g., the Bunny’s speed boost increases from +5 to +6.25).
  • Big Mutation: Offers a greater boost than the Rainbow variant.
  • Huge Mutation: Provides the highest possible boost to the pet's effect.
