Another Eden Begins Demo Now Live

Publisher WFS and developer Studio Prisma have officially launched a playable demo for their upcoming time-traveling, turn-based RPG, Another Eden Begins. The demo is currently accessible on Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, and PC platforms through Steam, offering players an early look at the game's mechanics and narrative.

A significant feature of this demo is the ability for players to carry over their progress. Any story advancements and character statistics accumulated within the demo's save data will be fully transferable to the complete version of Another Eden Begins upon its launch. This ensures that time invested in the demo contributes directly to a player's experience in the final game, allowing for a seamless transition without the need to restart their journey.

The full digital release of Another Eden Begins is scheduled for September 17, making it available worldwide on Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam. This simultaneous global launch for digital storefronts ensures that players across different regions can access the game on the same date.

For those who prefer physical copies, WFS and Studio Prisma have also outlined release plans. A physical edition of the game will be available in Japan concurrently with the digital launch on September 17. Western players looking for a physical version will need to wait a bit longer, as Aksys Games is set to publish the physical edition in the west sometime in 2027. This staggered release approach for physical copies caters to different market preferences and distribution timelines.

The game is described as a time-traveling, turn-based RPG, suggesting a narrative rich with temporal mechanics and strategic combat encounters. The availability of the demo provides an opportunity for prospective players to experience these elements firsthand and decide if the game aligns with their interests before the full release.

The announcement of the demo and release details was accompanied by a new trailer, showcasing further insights into the game's world and gameplay. This trailer was made available in multiple languages, including English, Japanese, Korean, Traditional Chinese, and Simplified Chinese, indicating a broad international marketing effort by the publisher and developer.
