Riot Games has deployed the Valorant 13.02 update for PC players, bringing a targeted adjustment to Phoenix's ultimate ability alongside a delay for the upcoming limited-time game mode.
Quick Facts
- Phoenix Ultimate Cost: Increased from 6 to 7 points.
- AROS: Replication Mode: Delayed to a future update.
- RETAKE Map Pool: Added Split, Corrode, and Lotus.
Phoenix Ultimate Adjusted
The primary agent balance change in patch 13.02 applies to Phoenix. Riot Games has adjusted his Run It Back ultimate, increasing its cost from six points to seven points. According to developers, the team is generally satisfied with Phoenix's overall balance state, but implemented this adjustment to rein in the frequency with which he can cast his ultimate to align better with other roster members.
Replication LTM Delayed
Players looking forward to the All Random One Site: Replication mode will have to wait longer. The mode, which combines single-site spike combat with a team composition limited to a single agent, has been delayed past this update. Riot Games stated that the decision was not taken lightly and confirmed that the team is still targeting a future release date.
RETAKE Map Pool Updates
The RETAKE mode received map additions in this patch, incorporating Split, Corrode, and Lotus into its active rotation.
