Riot Games has announced the upcoming VALORANT Aeris bundle, a new magical-fantasy themed collection set to launch on August 18, 2026. The bundle introduces cardistry-inspired animations and a signature melee weapon that alters its appearance depending on the attack animation.

The Suit of Aeris Melee
The centerpiece of the collection is the Suit of Aeris melee. Unlike standard knife skins, this weapon transforms during combat. The first primary attack utilizes a dagger, while the second and third attacks switch to a sword. The fourth attack—and the alternate attack—utilizes a greatsword. Each of these forms incorporates a magical card aesthetic, which also appears during the weapon's unique equip and inspect animations.
Weapon Skins and Finisher Effects
In addition to the melee, the bundle includes skins for the Vandal, Bandit, Marshal, and Guardian. These weapons feature custom reload and inspect animations that lean into the collection's card-themed visual style. The finisher effect traps eliminated players in a circle of floating magical cards; once the cards strike, the area darkens, followed by a pillar of energy and ethereal ambient music.
Players can purchase the full collection for 9,500 VP. Individual items from the Aeris bundle will also be available for separate purchase once the collection releases on August 18.
