The next iteration of the popular Grand Theft Auto roleplay project, NoPixel V, will enter a closed beta test on September 8, 2026. Available exclusively through the Rockstar Games Launcher, the launch follows a period of collaboration between the server's development team and Rockstar Games.

Access and Availability
According to NoPixel creator Koil, the launch marks a significant technical update that required a complete rebuild of the server framework. Initial access is restricted to an invite-only allowlist, which will be rolled out in phases. While the first phase of invites is nearly complete, the team plans to expand access to more participants over time.
For those currently playing on existing servers, NoPixel Public and NoPixel 4.0 will continue to operate as usual, remaining unaffected by the upcoming closed beta test. The shift toward the Rockstar Games Launcher follows the company's 2023 acquisition of the team behind FiveM, the multiplayer framework that powers the NoPixel community.
