Microsoft and Discord Subpoena Details
Filed on August 20 through the Southern District Court of New York, the DMCA subpoenas ask both tech companies to release identifying records and user data associated with the leaked material. Both Microsoft and Discord have a deadline of September 4 to provide the requested information.
The petition directed at Microsoft requests all internal business and investigative records linked to the "cyberleek" persona to identify the user or entity involved. It also requests OneDrive content related to Grand Theft Auto, Rockstar, or Cyberleek.
The Discord subpoena targets user accounts communicating on servers associated with specific handles, including "CYBERLEEK," "CINEMATICROCKSTAR," and "Surfer24k™" (along with replacement handles such as cyberleek_west and surwest). For returned accounts, Take-Two is seeking account IDs, registration emails, IP addresses, phone numbers, linked connections, device identifiers, and telemetry records.

While the investigation into the leaker continues, Rockstar Games has scheduled an extended look at Grand Theft Auto VI. The footage will premiere on Netflix on August 27 at 12:00 pm PT / 3:00 pm ET / 8:00 pm UK. It will subsequently launch on the Rockstar Games YouTube channel and the official Grand Theft Auto VI website later that day at 6:00 pm PT / 9:00 pm ET (or August 28 at 2:00 am UK).
