In a span of just 48 hours, two teenage players have rewritten the competitive history of Valorant in the EMEA region. During the ongoing VCT 2026: EMEA Stage 2 Play-In bracket, 17-year-old Kachoww of Fire Flux Esports and 16-year-old kozzy of Enterprise Esports each secured the title of youngest player to record an ace in VCT EMEA history.

Kachoww initially set the record with an ace against PCIFIC Esports, followed by another during a 2-1 victory over Team Heretics. His performance during this run included an average Combat Score of 499 and 1.93 kills per round. However, the record was short-lived; just two days later, 16-year-old kozzy surpassed the mark during Enterprise Esports' victory over Gentle Mates.

Impact on VCT EMEA Playoff Qualification

The success of these two players has significant implications for the tournament bracket. Both Fire Flux Esports and Enterprise Esports have secured spots in the Upper Bracket semifinals. Because they have advanced this far, at least one Challengers organization is now guaranteed a berth in the upcoming Playoffs, where four teams will ultimately compete for a spot at VALORANT Champions 2026 in Shanghai.

Upcoming Schedule

  • August 12, 2026: Lower Bracket matches begin for eliminated teams.
  • August 15, 2026: Upper Bracket semifinals, featuring the head-to-head matchup between Fire Flux Esports and Enterprise Esports.

The remaining Upper Bracket semifinal will feature an all-Turkish matchup between Eternal Fire and FUT Esports. While the current tournament structure highlights these emerging talents, the broader competitive landscape is shifting as the VCT franchise system is set to conclude in 2027, potentially opening more consistent access to the top level of play for rising stars.
