The Coalition has detailed the multiplayer map lineup for Gears of War: E-Day on Xbox Series X, confirming a total of nine maps available at launch. The selection includes three maps dedicated to the 12-player PvE Horde Siege mode and six maps built for competitive Versus matches.

All Gears of War: E-Day Horde Siege Maps

Horde Siege returns as a 12-player cooperative mode where developer The Coalition notes that "the map itself is part of the battle." Sprawling environments provide movement and tactical freedom.

  • Golden Quarter: Set in the war-torn streets of Kalona's historic district, featuring vintage architecture and iconic landmarks. It is currently the only confirmed Horde Siege map, with players able to preview it during the game's open beta. Two additional Horde maps remain unrevealed.

All Gears of War: E-Day Versus Maps

The six confirmed Versus maps offer varied layouts ranging from open sightlines to tight interior spaces across Kalona and military zones:

  • Outpost: An abandoned military camp featuring bunkers, shifting elevation, multiple traversal routes, and long sightlines.
  • Battleship: A long-lost war vessel utilizing exposed decks, bridge crossings, and docks as the combat arena.
  • Park: An abandoned coastal zoo in Downtown Kalona anchored by a bloodied fountain and surrounded by winding pathways.
  • Precinct: Located inside Kalona’s Police Department, offering close-quarters combat through tight interiors and breached walls.
  • Market: A seaside market in Kalona featuring long streets, elevated balconies, and dense interiors.
  • Skyward: A rooftop-focused map featuring interconnected structures, narrow pathways, and open drops.

Post-Launch Map Availability

Players won't need to purchase season passes or map packs for future content. The Coalition has confirmed that all multiplayer maps added to Gears of War: E-Day following the game's launch will be released as free additions.
