Epic Games has confirmed that Yoruichi Shihouin from the anime series Bleach is joining Fortnite. The character, a former captain of the Soul Society’s Second Division, will be available in the game's item shop starting August 7, 2026, at 8 PM ET.
Quick Facts
- Release Date: August 7, 2026, at 8 PM ET.
- Included Characters: The second wave features Yoruichi Shihouin and Kisuke Urahara.
- Confirmed Cosmetics: Expected items include multiple skin styles, back bling, a pickaxe, an emote, and a wrap.
Yoruichi’s debut is part of the second wave of the Fortnite x Bleach collaboration. The initial crossover, which launched in December 2025, introduced Ichigo Kurosaki, Rukia Kuchiki, Orihime Inoue, and Uryu Ishida to the game.
Design and Customization
While the official reveal from the French Fortnite social media account showcased a primary look for the character, leaks suggest players can expect further customization. Reports indicate that Yoruichi will launch with both regular and ninja outfit styles. Additionally, there is anticipation regarding a potential "Shunko: Raijin Senkei" form, which would mirror her lightning-based appearance from the Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War anime.
Pricing for the new Bleach cosmetics has not yet been announced by Epic Games.
