The Ironmouse Sprite is making its official return to Fortnite on Tuesday, August 4, 2026. The V-Tuber companion item previously appeared around the island for a short time before Epic Games vaulted it in what was described as an early sneak peek.
Quick Facts
- Return Date: August 4, 2026
- Buffs: Faster health regeneration and low gravity while healing
- Platform: Multi-Platform (Battle Royale)
During a livestream, Ironmouse addressed the early rollout, explaining that the item came out too early and was scheduled to arrive on her anniversary. August 4, 2026 marks the anniversary of her 2017 debut.
For players who managed to collect the item before it was removed, data-mined details indicate that the Sprite will be temporarily missing from collections until re-enabled. Once active again, players will keep their progress and continue using the Sprite at the exact level it reached when last equipped.
Sprite Buffs and Future Cosmetics
Like other Sprites in the battle royale game, Ironmouse's inclusion provides passive advantages during matches. Equipping the Sprite grants faster health regeneration alongside low gravity effects while health is actively restored. Each level-up further increases the rate at which health is recovered.
Beyond the Sprite itself, additional cosmetics may be on the way. Statements from Ironmouse during her broadcast suggest that further items are in development, which could include a full bundle featuring a backbling, glider, and pickaxe alongside potential Item Shop skins.
