Gaming chairs are often dismissed as overpriced aesthetic choices compared to standard office furniture, but the AutoFull M6 Ultra 2.0 attempts to bridge that gap. Featured at the 2026 IEM Cologne Major, this chair is a high-end piece of hardware that packs cooling, heating, and massage functionality into a single package. After spending time with it, my verdict is that it is a quality ergonomic choice, though it comes with some notable design flaws that make the 9/10 score a nuanced one.
Assembly and Build Quality
Assembling the M6 Ultra 2.0 is straightforward. Most screws come pre-installed, meaning you simply remove them, place your component, and tighten them back up. The manufacturer provides a manual, but a QR code for an assembly video is also available if you prefer a visual guide. Once put together, the build feels genuinely premium, utilizing a mix of mesh and breathable leather that effectively keeps the seat cool during long sessions of VALORANT or CS2.
Adjustability and Real-World Comfort
The chair offers a high level of customization, including adjustable height, seat recline, and a headrest. The standout feature is the dynamic lumbar support; it moves with your back to encourage a straight posture, which provided immediate relief for the back pain caused by my previous setup. When fully reclined, you can even pull out a built-in leg pillow for a more relaxed, lounge-like position.
However, not every adjustment feature lands. The armrests are arguably the biggest downside. While they offer 720-degree movement and plenty of tilt settings, they move far too freely. Leaning into them even slightly causes them to displace, making it difficult to maintain your preferred angle without constant readjustment.
The Integrated Tech: Cooling, Heating, and Massage
The M6 Ultra 2.0 is the first chair to integrate cooling, heating, and massage features. Controlled via buttons on the right side, each function offers three intensity settings. The lumbar massager is the highlight here, especially when synced with the seat massager. The heater is effective for cold days, while the cooling fans offer a subtle, chill breeze.
There is a catch: you must keep the chair tethered to a 5V2A USB power adapter. If you are like me and worry about rolling over cables or causing damage, you might find yourself leaving it unplugged, which renders these premium features useless. If you don't mind the cable management, they are a nice bonus, but they shouldn't be the primary reason you drop nearly $900 on this chair.
