Velina Airgid has officially joined the Zenless Zone Zero roster as of June 17, 2026. Arriving with the version 3.0 update, she marks a significant addition to the game's combat mechanics as the first playable agent to wield the Wind element.

Velina’s Combat Role and Faction

As an S-Rank Anomaly character, Velina brings a unique flair to the battlefield. She utilizes massive fans to control the flow of combat, effectively blasting enemies away with her Wind-based attacks. Because she introduces a brand-new element to the game, she was featured on the first half of the version 3.0 banner, allowing players to secure her and her signature S-Rank W-Engine upon launch.

Velina serves as your guide through Roscaelifer, the new area introduced in update 3.0. She leads the External Strategy Department, a faction that works alongside characters like Norma. While she appeared briefly in the Random Play shop in previous updates to greet Proxies, her role is much deeper; she and Norma were responsible for overseeing the Hollow Champion competition, hinting at a complex narrative purpose within the new update.
