Messenger is a cozy browser-based experience that tasks you with delivering letters across a small, charming town. Because the game lacks an in-game map, finding specific characters or locations can be tricky. This guide breaks down exactly where to go to find every NPC and point of interest.

Starting Point: The Shipyard

Your journey begins at the repairable boat located at the start of the game. This is your primary hub for meeting the local sailor. Speak with him here to receive your first letter, which sets your delivery tasks in motion.

Town Center and the Office Worker

From the shipyard, head left to reach the town center. This area is home to several residents, including the flower lady, the laundry man, and the man in office clothing. If you speak with the office worker, he will entrust you with a letter meant for his boss. You’ll need to track down the boss later to resolve this.

The Graveyard and the Red House

From the town center, continue straight and then turn right. If you take the first left after turning, you will reach the graveyard, where an old lady will provide you with a letter to deliver. If you bypass the graveyard and continue straight, you will find a Red House perched on a cliff. This is where the office worker’s boss resides. He will confirm that the letter he received was quite humorous; you can take it back to the office worker from here.

The Scout, The Cave, and The Factory

Keep heading straight past the Red House until you reach a wooden bridge. Continuing along this path brings you to a boy in scout’s gear. At this junction, you have two primary directions:

  • The Cave: Take the path to the right to find a man hiding inside a cave. He will provide you with a letter.
  • The Factory: Continue straight to reach a factory located past a waterfall. Speak with the factory worker here to hear about the recent delivery mix-ups.

The Scientist and the Mountain Temple

If you leave the factory via the left-hand route, you will encounter a blockade. Use the narrow path going straight to bypass it. You will find a scientist standing by his bike—this is the individual who received the incorrect order from the factory. Continue straight past the scientist and follow the path up the hill to reach the Temple, where you can deliver the letter requested by the old lady at the graveyard.

Final Deliveries

Once you have reached the middle of the town, locate the Garden Lady. After speaking with her about her husband, she will ask you to deliver fresh clothes. Return to the man in the cave to deliver these, then visit the factory again to speak with the second scientist. Finally, return to the front of the bridge and head left along the water stream. You will find an NPC relaxing by the water, where you can deliver the final letter provided by the sailor at the start of the game.
