How to Play Gunde Effectively

Gunde is designed for aggressive engagements. Your primary gameplay loop should revolve around using Warbound to close the distance instantly, followed by a sequence of abilities to build up Rend stacks on your target. Because Rend functions as a bleed effect, keeping it active is essential to his overall output.

Keep a close watch on your cooldowns, particularly for high-damage finishers like Heart Splitter and Rupture. When enemies have Rend active, keep an eye on the ground for Blood Feathers. Collecting these grants you stacks of Owed in Blood which allows you to manually apply heavy Rend stacks to a specific enemy when you need to burst them down.
