To mark its upcoming 25th anniversary on November 15, Xbox has released a new collection of profile customization options for players. The update includes a new dynamic background for Xbox Series X|S and three additional gamerpics.
New Anniversary Profile Items
The new dynamic background was created in collaboration with community member Klobrille. It features artwork for four of the brand's core franchises: Halo, Gears of War, Forza, and Fable. The design is inspired by the classic Xbox 360 dashboard blades.
In addition to the background, Xbox partnered with community member Ben Kenobi to release three new gamerpics. Players can also now see a 25th Anniversary badge displayed on their profile when logged into an Xbox account via console, PC, or the mobile app.
Game Pass Collections
Xbox Game Pass is also hosting a series of curated game collections. These are designed to highlight titles that have defined the Xbox platform across its various generations. Players can expect to see franchise spotlights and console-specific groupings as part of these celebrations.
