Premise and Gameplay Mechanics
Set on May 23rd, 1993, the game's premise involves the Lady of the Past wiping humanity's memories. Players control the Future Knight, who must travel back eight hours to sabotage her plans before the apocalypse arrives. Each of the eight biomes corresponds to one hour of the countdown, shifting through surreal environments like construction sites and sushi conveyor belts.
Combat and exploration rely on switching between the Future Knight and Two More—a benign, powerful tumour living inside him. While the Future Knight handles firepower, Two More can dash, climb walls, and squeeze into tight spaces. The game also features sectarian triangles to collect, challenging boss encounters, and shifting vertical and horizontal scrolling levels wrapped in an LCD-inspired aesthetic.
