August 2026 Game Pass Lineup

The month kicks off with Beast of Reincarnation, a new action RPG from Game Freak. The title features a hybrid of real-time and turn-based combat, centered on a "one-person, one-dog" mechanic that follows the journey of characters named Emma and Koo.

Following that, Monsters Are Coming! arrives on August 6. This tower-survivor rogue-lite tasks players with protecting a mobile city from waves of enemies while gathering resources and building defenses to reach the Ark.

For PC players, Sandustry lands on August 13. It is a factory simulation game set in a fully destructible world where players must automate production chains and mine resources to uncover the secrets of an ancient civilization.

August 14 brings Grave Seasons to Series X|S, PC, and Cloud. This narrative farming simulator introduces a horror element: one of the townspeople in Ashenridge is a supernatural serial killer. Players must balance farm management and romance with investigative work.

Finally, the month closes with the addition of Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy on August 27, which will be available across Series X|S, PC, and Cloud platforms.

These additions arrive following a busy July for the platform, which includes the release of Halo: Campaign Evolved on July 28.
