Tabletop cooperative adventures are officially expanding into the Microsoft ecosystem. Resolution Games has confirmed that Demeo x Dungeons & Dragons: Battlemarked will launch for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox on PC, and Xbox Handheld later in 2026, answering frequent requests from the community following the game's initial reveal.
Built using the Demeo Action Roleplaying System, the cooperative tactical title drops up to four players into story-driven adventures set within the Forgotten Realms. Rather than replicating every complex tabletop rule set, the gameplay focuses on streamlined mechanics, party communication, and careful positioning to appeal to newcomers and veterans alike.
Xbox Play Anywhere and Cross-Platform Parties
For players within the Microsoft ecosystem, the release brings specific platform benefits. Digital purchases will support Xbox Play Anywhere, enabling progress to carry over seamlessly between Xbox Series X|S, PC, and compatible handheld devices.
Additionally, the title features full cross-play support at launch. Tommy Palm, founder and CEO of Resolution Games, noted that building around cooperative play made bringing the title to Xbox a priority following sustained fan demand. When the game arrives later this year, Xbox users will be able to form parties with players across Steam, Nintendo Switch 2, Meta Horizon, PlayStation, and a planned PICO version.
Demeo x Dungeons & Dragons: Battlemarked is currently slated to roll out later in 2026 across its confirmed console, PC, and VR/XR platforms.
