Equipped with this hat, Dodo can instantly swap between 2D side-scrolling and fully explorable 3D environments. This perspective-shifting puzzle design encourages players to examine dead ends from multiple viewpoints to uncover hidden platforms, secret paths, and collectible stardust.
Movement capabilities extend beyond standard platforming. Dodo can glide, float, and splash through water across various alien planets. Collecting stardust lets players visit Capie to unlock additional caps, discover hidden areas, and trigger photo opportunities. The game also features a dedicated quack button.

Dodo Duckie is available today on the Xbox Store for Xbox Series X|S, on Windows PC with Xbox Play Anywhere support, and on Steam. PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch versions are scheduled to release later this year with pricing yet to be confirmed. The game is not available on Xbox Game Pass at launch.
