Namco's classic 1995 arcade racing game Cyber Cycles is making its way to modern platforms on August 20, 2026, developer Hamster has announced. Known originally for its distinct large bike-style arcade cabinet, the near-future motorcycle racer lets players choose from a lineup of unique machines to outpace rivals.

Platforms, Versions, and Pricing
Hamster is releasing the title across two tiers of its retro emulation series, depending on the hardware platform:
- Arcade Archives 2 ($16.99 / 1,800 yen): Available for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and Switch 2.
- Arcade Archives ($14.99 / 1,500 yen): Available for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch.
Players who purchase the standard Arcade Archives version can upgrade to the Arcade Archives 2 release for $2.99 (330 yen).
Features and Modes
Both versions feature the standard "Original Mode," which includes display settings, button remapping, rapid-fire options, multiple save files, a rewind function, and CRT-style display filters. Global online leaderboards are also supported via HI SCORE MODE and CARAVAN MODE.
The Arcade Archives 2 editions add a brand-new "Time Attack Mode" focused purely on completion speed, alongside variable refresh rate (VRR) support for more accurate arcade hardware reproduction.
