Players picking up The Blood of Dawnwalker this September will want to hold onto their save files. Developer Rebel Wolves and publisher Bandai Namco have confirmed that the upcoming RPG will allow players to carry their progress and decisions over to future installments of the series.

How Save Transfers Will Work

The feature mirrors the approach taken by the Mass Effect trilogy, where player choices made in an earlier entry impact the narrative and world-state of sequels. Game director Konrad Tomaszkiewicz confirmed the implementation of this system in a recent interview, with Bandai Namco later clarifying that there will be a specific option to import save data from the first game.

Rebel Wolves has previously indicated that the franchise is designed to span multiple titles, with teasers suggesting the series will explore different time periods and global locations. Despite these shifts in setting, the studio has stated that the protagonist, Coen, will remain the central character throughout the series.
