Following a difficult launch for the PC version of Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls, producer Takeshi Yamanaka has addressed the state of the game, admitting that the team faces an “extremely challenging task” in regaining the trust of burned players.

While the PlayStation 5 version of the title has been described as largely spotless, the PC release was met with immediate criticism due to technical performance and online connectivity issues. The instability was significant enough that prominent community figures, including streamer Maximilian Dood, publicly uninstalled the PC version in favor of the console release.

Current Development Status

Arc System Works has begun deploying updates to address these complaints. Yamanaka confirmed that two urgent patches have already been released. The most recent update focused on mitigating high CPU processing loads, which was a primary source of the performance instability.

Despite these initial fixes, the development team remains focused on resolving outstanding technical issues. Yamanaka emphasized that the studio is committed to ensuring an environment where players can experience the game as intended, though he stopped short of promising a simple fix for the damaged reputation of the port.
