Bend Studio, the developer behind Days Gone, is actively working on a new project following a turbulent period for the Oregon-based team. According to reporting from Jason Schreier, the studio is currently in development on a new intellectual property.
Project Status and Timeline
The studio’s previous efforts included a live-service title that was cancelled in early 2025—the same period during which a God of War live-service project from Bluepoint Games was also shelved. With that project no longer in development, the team has pivoted to this new, currently unannounced title.
While official details remain scarce, commentary suggests that the public might see the first look at this project within the next one to two years. If development on this new IP began in late 2025, a reveal window between 2027 and 2028 is considered a realistic expectation.
