Xbox is making it easier to play your console library on computer hardware through a new partnership with Ubisoft, rolling out free PC versions for select digital owners. Announced in an official Xbox Wire news release, the "Xbox Console-to-PC Offer" program gives players access to select Ubisoft games on PC at no additional cost using the Ubisoft Connect app.

It is worth noting that the arrangement is strictly one-way. Players can only claim a free PC version from an eligible Xbox digital purchase, and the reverse is not supported.
Future Expansion on the Xbox App
Alongside the immediate game transfers, the expanded partnership between Xbox and Ubisoft will bring a broader selection of digital games with premium editions directly to the Xbox app on PC. While a complete catalog list has not yet been released, confirmed highlights for the Xbox app integration include Assassin's Creed Shadows, Star Wars Outlaws, Rainbow Six Siege, and Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown.
