D-CELL has released The Jamie Paige Content Companion, the first major DLC for UNBEATABLE, alongside a comprehensive game update to version 2.2.0. The content is available now for PC players via Steam.

New Content and Patch 2.2.0 Features

The Jamie Paige Content Companion DLC brings 12 additional tracks to the game, as well as new characters and stages. All DLC content is accessible through the game's Arcade Mode once purchased and installed. Additionally, a new track titled “NOT LOSING”—adapted from the game’s brawl music—has been added to the Arcade Mode for all players for free, regardless of DLC ownership.

Patch 2.2.0 introduces several long-requested quality-of-life features:

  • Expanded Localization: The full game now supports Japanese and Simplified Chinese.
  • Subtitles: A new subtitle toggle has been added for Story Mode cutscenes, addressing previous concerns regarding the audibility of singing and dialogue for international players.
  • Bug Fixes: The update resolves an issue in the Episode 4 bartending minigame that caused a dialogue loop.

Player Impact and Availability

For players on PC, the update is live immediately. Those starting a fresh save will be presented with an installer menu to select their language preference before beginning the game. For existing saves, language settings can be adjusted at any time via the main menu, while subtitle toggles are located within the Audio settings.

Console players are currently on version 2.1, which includes the new DLC and the “NOT LOSING” track but lacks the 2.2 localization and subtitle features. D-CELL has confirmed that these features are currently in the submission process and will be pushed to consoles as soon as they are approved.

Soundtrack and Media

Accompanying the DLC release, the Jamie Paige Content Companion album is available for purchase on Bandcamp. D-CELL has also made the game's main ALBUM. available on major streaming platforms. Furthermore, the studio is uploading music to their YouTube channel, with official CD and vinyl releases currently available for pre-order through iam8bit.
