Two Point Studios has released a free Cult of the Lamb update for Two Point Museum. The content is available now for players on Steam Deck, Linux, Mac, and Windows, bringing themed mechanics and new expedition regions to the museum management simulator.

New Cult Mechanics and Rituals

The update introduces a cult-themed system centered on guest and staff interaction. Players can construct a Shrine in their museum, allowing guests to generate Devotion. This resource is used to progress through a new Cult Reward tree, which offers specific decor and exhibit upgrades.

The system also impacts museum operations through the following additions:

  • Temple Management: Managers can perform Rituals at the Temple to earn Devotion and unlock specific boons.
  • Staff Cultists: Employees can be trained to join the Museum Cult, resulting in lower salary demands.
  • Guest Impact: Faithful guests contribute more Devotion, which helps increase overall museum Buzz and donation rates.

Expeditions and Exhibits

The update adds the Digiverse expedition map, featuring themed regions inspired by Cult of the Lamb, including Darkwood, Silk Cradle, and Anura. Exploring these areas allows expert teams to bring back new finds for the museum.

New workshop content includes four unique, cult-themed exhibits: the Drum Circle, Offering Statue, Temple, and a roaming Lamb Exhibit. These additions are designed to integrate into existing museum layouts to help players grow their cult flock.

Platform and Availability

The update is available immediately through Steam and the Humble Store. The game is confirmed to maintain its Steam Deck Verified status following this release. No manual action is required beyond updating the game client through your respective platform launcher.
